Abstract:
Single row angular contact ball bearings can bear radial load and axial load in one direction at the same time, and can also bear pure axial load in one direction. When bearing radial load, axial component force will be caused. Therefore, single row angular contact ball bearings often need to be matched and installed with other bearings that bear axial loads in opposite directions. In other words, angular contact ball bearings are usually used in pairs or in sets with three, four, five bearings.
Key words: Contact angle; Single row angular contact ball bearings; Double row angular contact ball bearings; Bearing application; Machine tool spindle.
There is a contact angle between the ring and the ball. The standard contact angles are 15°, 30° and 40°. The larger the contact angle, the greater the axial load capacity; the smaller the contact angle, the more conducive to high-speed rotation. Single row angular contact ball bearings can bear radial load and unidirectional axial load. Structurally, two single-row angular contact ball bearings combined on the back share the inner ring and outer ring and can bear radial load and bidirectional axial load.
Application:
Single row angular contact ball bearings: machine tool spindle, high-frequency motor, gas turbine, centrifugal separator, small car front wheel, differential pinion shaft.
Double row angular contact ball bearings: oil pumps, Roots blowers, air compressors, various transmissions, fuel injection pumps, printing machinery.
