Ball screw bearings can convert rotary motion into linear motion or linear motion into rotary motion. Introduction to screw drive bearings

1.Low friction loss and high transmission rate

Many balls are rolling between the screw shaft and the nut of the ball screw pair, performing ball motion, so that relatively high motion efficiency can be obtained. Compared with our previous sliding screw pair, the driving torque is less than 1/3, that is, the power required to achieve the same motion result is 1/3 of that of using a sliding screw pair. Therefore, the power saving effect is achieved well.

2.Smooth movement

The transmission system of ball screw bearings is a point-contact rolling motion. It has low friction resistance and high sensitivity during operation. There is no vibration when starting and no creeping phenomenon at low speed. Therefore, ball screws can precisely control micro-feeding.

3. High precision

The ball screw pair is produced by high-level mechanical equipment. During production, there are strict requirements on the temperature and humidity of the production environment, so the high precision of the ball screw is guaranteed. The movement temperature rise of the ball screw transmission system is relatively small. The axial clearance can be eliminated by pre-tightening, and the thermal stretching can be compensated by pre-stretching the ball screw, thereby obtaining higher positioning accuracy and repeatability.

4.Good synchronization

Because the ball screw bearing moves smoothly, reacts sensitively, and has no blockage or slippage, better synchronization can be achieved when using several sets of the same ball screw transmission control system to drive several identical components or devices at the same time.

5.High axial rigidity

The ball screw pair can be preloaded, because the preload can make the axial clearance reach a negative value, thus obtaining higher rigidity.

6.Higher reliability

Compared with other transmission machinery and hydraulic transmission, the probability of failure of the ball screw bearing transmission system is relatively low, and the maintenance and care of the ball screw bearing is also very simple, only general lubrication and dust prevention are required.
