Designation System

The method of bearing designation for Cylindrical Roller bearings typically consists of three parts: prefix, basic code, and suffix. Here’s an explanation of the designation method used by BRZB:

  • Prefix:
    1.23: Represents 60° bearings.
    2.BAR: Represents 30° bearings.
    3.BTR: Represents 40° bearings.
  • Basic Code:
The basic code follows the same format as other bearings. It consists of a type of code at the beginning, followed by size (width series), and then the inner diameter series.
  • Suffix:
    Material code:
    S: GCr15/SUJ2 rolling elements.
    H: Si3N4 rolling elements.
    Cage Material Codes:
    TNY: PA66, ball centered.
    M: Brass alloy.
    Accuracy code:
SP: Dimensional accuracy equal to ISO tolerance class 5 and running accuracy equal to ISO tolerance class 4.
UP: Dimensional accuracy equal to ISO tolerance class 4 and running accuracy equal to ISO tolerance class 2.

Please note that bearing designation methods may vary from country to country, and the above explanation is specific to the BRZB designation method for angular contact ball bearings.
