Designations System

The method of bearing designation for angular contact ball bearings typically consists of three parts: prefix, basic code, and suffix. Here’s an explanation of the designation method used by BRZB:

  • Suffix: model number
    CRBS, CRBH etc.
    RA
    RB
    RU
  • Basic Code:

The basic code follows the same format as other bearings. It consists of a type of code at the beginning, followed by size (width series), and then the inner diameter series.

  • Suffix:
    Seal Type Codes
    -: no seal
    UU: Seals on both side
U: Seal on outer ring counterbore side
UT: Seal on outer ring non-counterbore side
    Radial Clearance Type:
    CC0: Negative clearance (preload)
    C0: Positive clearance
C1: Greater positive clearance than C0
    Accuracy Level:
    -: no symbol, P6
P5: rotational accuracy in accordance with ISO standard class 5
P4: rotational accuracy in accordance with ISO standard class 4
P2: rotational accuracy in accordance with ISO standard class 2
USP: rotational accuracy in accordance with ISO standard class USP
    FC: Paired face-to-face tandem arrangement.
CC: Axial clearance greater than CB.
    RS: Contact rubber seal.

Please note that bearing designation methods may vary from country to country, and the above explanation is specific to the BRZB designation method for crossed-roller bearings.
